EuroVis 2021 and all co-located events take place in a virtual format. To enable a social experience, we host a virtual venue called Topia.

Topia

Joining Topia requires a registration at the conference. Both, the virtual attendance and the contributor registration will work. Shortly after, you receive a welcome email that provides more information. Once you received the welcome email, your Topia access is enabled. Now, you can sign-in at Topia by following the link below using the same email address that you received the welcome email to. Note that Topia requires a Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Opera, etc.). Firefox is not supported.

University of Zurich

The conference is organized by the University of Zurich in collaboration with ETH Zurich. Below, you find a few impressions of both universities and a 60 second clip featuring the city itself.

Located in the heart of Zurich, the City Campus of the University of Zurich enjoys a view down onto the lake and the central districts of Zurich. With its 26,000 enrolled students, the University of Zurich (UZH) is Switzerland’s largest university.

ETH Zurich

The Central campus of ETH Zurich is located next to the University of Zurich, sharing the proximity to the vibrant life in Downtown Zurich. ETH Zurich is consistently ranked among the top universities in the world and has currently 20,000 enrolled students.

Zurich

Zurich is Switzerland’s largest city, which offers a wide variety of cultural activities, defining Zurich’s character as a diverse, open city with a passion for life. It is famous for its lakeside location and green, densely wooded chain of hills which run through the city from north to south. Zurich’s high standards of living, working and accommodation are regularly confirmed in surveys of the local residents, and Zurich consistently finds itself at the top of international rankings of cities in terms of quality of life.
