Parking is severely limited on the NUIG Campus. Delegates arriving by car are advised to avail of free parking in the Galway Business Park, Upper Newcastle Road. There will be a complimentary shuttle bus to take you to the Quadrangle where the event will take place. The shuttle will bring you back again in the evening. Full Invitation with Map (PDF)

Directions for Parking, Galway Business Park, Upper Newcastle Road:

Coming from Dublin follow the Signs for the N59. After you cross Quincentenial Bridge, continue straight until you come to a roundabout. Take the right turn off this roundabout following the signs for Clifden and the N59. Continue straight for approximately 1km. You will come to a traffic lights and crossroads which will have a signpost left for Clifden and right for Galway City. Go straight across this junction into the Business Park. DERI’s new building and the free car parking is the first left when you enter the Business Park. The shuttle bus will run from here to the Quadrangle on the main campus.

Direction for those taking a taxi to the Quadrangle

The Information Juggernaut is taking place in the Aula Maxima and Aula Minima which are located in the Quadrangle. The Quadrangle can be accessed from the main entrance to NUIG from University Road.
