The IBM Research Laboratory Zurich (Rüschlikon) is the European branch of IBM Research. This network of about 3500 employees in eight laboratories around the world is the largest industrial IT research institute in the world. Founded in 1956, the ZRL currently employees around 330 people of more than 30 nationalities. The spectrum of ZRL research activities includes nanosciences, chip technology, supercomputing, server technology, data security and protection of privacy, risk and compliance as well as the optimization of business processes etc. World-class research and outstanding scientific performances, including two Nobel prizes – are the hallmark of the ZRL.

The Avaloq Group is the Swiss market leader for integrated banking software.
